At the moment you cannot send direct from most Exchange accounts or QT to Syscoin NEVM direct so you have to carry out the following

  1. Install the Pali wallet from the Chrome Store (not available for mobile) and send Sys to it from your Exchange or QT.
  2. Install Metamask and deposit some gas.
  3. Use Syscoins bridge to Transfer from the Pali wallet to Metamask.

WHEN USING THE BRIDGE MAKE SURE THE ‘Syscoin Burn TXID’ FIELD IS EMPTY BEFORE YOU PRESS THE BURN BUTTON

Common Issues

  1. Patience. Wait for your TX to confirm before moving onto the next step.
  2. Not Reading Instructions.
  3. Not clearing the Syscoin Burn TXID field.
  4. You must have Gas in Both Pali and Metamask

Install the Pali wallet from the Chrome Store

Create a Syscoin address if one is not already created.

Send a small amount of Sys to this wallet from your exchange as a test, then the remainder.

Install Metamask

  1. Install Metamask [Chrome Extension]
  2. Configure Metamask to connect to Syscoin Mainnet (NEVM)
  3. For new Metamask users out there, you will realise that your wallet is connected to the Ethereum network by default and you wouldn’t be able to interact with the dApps on Syscoin.
  4. For a quick auto setup to add Syscoin Mainnet head to https://chainlist.org/ and click Connect Wallet.

5. Once Connected, search for Syscoin in the search bar.

6. For Mainnet, click Add to Metamask.
7. You have now connected to the Syscoin Mainnet Network.

Manual Parameters to Add Syscoin Mainnet to Metamask:
If you want to add Syscoin Mainnet manually to your Metamask you can need to fill in the following parameters.

Fund Metamask with Gas

  1. You can request a little bit of syscoin by using the official Faucet: https://faucet.syscoin.org/
  2. Read the instructions on the website how the faucet works. Since you have to post on Twitter or Facebook first.

Use Syscoins Bridge to Transfer from Pali Wallet to Metamask

Ensure the ‘Syscoin Burn TXID’ is empty before pressing ‘Burn’

Video walk through https://vimeo.com/666518748 but read the instructions below as well

  1. To begin the bridging process, go to https://bridge.syscoin.org/
  2. Use the SYS → SYSX bridge.
  3. Enter the amount you want to bridge and click on burn
Paliwallet should pop up and accept the transaction. You must leave a small amount of Sys for gas.

When it is successful, it should look something like this and click on finish.

8. Now your SYS has become SYSX and it is ready to be bridged to the Syscoin Mainnet (NEVM). Please wait for the TX to be confirmed then you will see your SYSX in the Pali asset section

9. Click on the SYSX → NEVM Bridge

10. For the “assest GUID” section you want to put in “123456” this represents Syscoins token ID

In the “amount” section you put in the amount of syscoin you want to bridge.

In the third row you put in your Metamask address where you want your sys tokens to be send to.

Please ensure ‘Syscoin Burn TXID’ is empty

Once filled in, click on the burn button and accept the transaction in Paliwallet. Your new Burn TX will appear in the bottom field.

11. Wait for the TX to be confirmed then click Next

12. Click on Submit SPV proof. Keep trying the button till it says successful, if it failed before. Make sure your Pali wallet is unlocked.

13. Click Next

Make sure your Metamask has some Gas (See section above)

Click on submit SPV proofs and your Metamask will pop up

Connect your Metamask wallet to the site.

Accept the transaction to complete the bridging process.
Wait around 2.5 minutes for the transaction to be complete. Do not panic if it takes longer, block times sometime take a lot longer.

13. When the transaction is complete, you successfully bridged your Syscoin from an Exchange to SYS Mainnet (NEVM).

Ignore this message if you get it , your transaction is still being mined.

Finished.
